A molded case circuit breaker using AMI DODUCO electrical contacts received the Golden Award at the recent Amper Show in Prague, Czech Republic. The circuit breaker, designed for high power industrial applications, was developed by OEZ, one of the largest producers of switchgear in eastern Europe.

The Golden Award is given annually for innovative electromechanical products. The OEZ circuit breaker was specifically chosen for its modular construction that enables customer specific solutions. AMI DODUCO worked closely with OEZ engineers to develop a specially-coated silver graphite electrical contact that is key to the enhanced performance of the switch.
