The highlight of the exhibit will be a presentation of DODUCHEM®, the first lead-free electroless nickel-gold process for coating printed circuit boards (PCBs). “This process will meet the growing need for lead-free components in a wide variety of electronic devices and will support our customers to meet the legal requirements,” said Lothar H. In addition, because these treatments eliminate lead from the coating process, they are better for the environment and more resistant to oxidation than traditional processes.

The biannual Productronica is Europe’s largest showcase for equipment, materials, and other products for the manufacturing and quality control of electronic devices.
